- Target: WCAG 2.2 AA
- Light and dark
- Reading comfort on every page
Our yardstick
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the standard behind the European accessibility requirements (EN 301 549). That is our target, not a seal: we test ourselves with the keyboard, at 320 pixels wide, at 200% zoom and with automated checks, but the site hasn't been audited externally yet.
What we do
Every page has a clear structure with headings and recognisable regions, a link to jump straight to the content, a visible focus for keyboard users, forms with labels, enough colour contrast in the light and the dark theme, buttons large enough to hit, and respect for your device's 'reduce motion' setting.
Reading comfort
With the button showing a small figure at the top of every page you can choose larger text, more space between lines and letters, a readable font, more contrast, underlined links, less motion or a reading guide. Your choice is kept on your device. The button replaces nothing: the website also works without it, together with your own device's settings.
What isn't right yet
The learning content (the crafts, the modules and the prompting guide) is only in Dutch for now; in the other languages a notice says so. Applying opens your own mail app: if that doesn't work on your device, simply email us yourself.
