Who we are
Atelier by nealvdv is a trade name of Neal Van de Velde, self-employed alongside his job under the name nealvdv. VAT number BE 0671.938.794. Address: Keizerstraat 8A, 1740 Ternat, België. You reach us at contact@nealvdv.be.
What is free
The Map, the Chain, the Prompting guide, every lesson on the site, an account on the Workbench and a 30-minute introductory conversation are free. You enter no paid contract for them.
The subscription
The subscription costs €20 a month, including 21% VAT. You get: reviews by Neal of the assignments you hand in on the Workbench, with an answer within seven days (in school holidays Neal says in advance if it takes longer); the hallmark and your rank per craft; and your path in every craft, at your own pace. There are no fixed lesson days or group sessions. A rank is earned with work: the subscription entitles you to reviews, not to a particular outcome.
Paying and invoices
You pay for the subscription through Mollie, a licensed payment service. You pay the first month when you subscribe; after that, Mollie charges the same amount on the same day every month, until you cancel. Every payment comes with an invoice on your Workbench. We never see your card or account details.
Cancelling
You cancel whenever you like, on your Workbench, with no notice period. Nothing more is charged after that. The month you already paid runs out; you get nothing back for it, unless you use your right of withdrawal (below). If a payment fails, your subscription keeps running for seven more days and then stops by itself.
Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may withdraw from the subscription without giving a reason within 14 days of subscribing. Because the subscription starts at once, we ask you to request that expressly when you subscribe. If you withdraw within those 14 days, you only pay a proportionate amount for the reviews and sessions you already received (art. VI.51 § 3 Belgian Code of Economic Law), and you lose the right of withdrawal for the lessons and content you already received, because you agreed to that (art. VI.53, 13°). To withdraw, mail contact@nealvdv.be or use the model form in annex 2 of book VI of the Code. Whatever is due to you, we refund within 14 days, the same way you paid.
1‑to‑1 with Neal
An hour 1‑to‑1 costs €100, including 21% VAT (€82.64 excl. VAT). You ask for an hour, Neal suggests a time, and the hour is only booked once you agree on it. You pay afterwards, with an invoice you settle by bank transfer within 14 days. If you can't make it, say so as early as you can; an hour that didn't happen is not charged. Neal only takes a limited number of hours a month.
What stays yours
What you make stays yours. Neal only uses your work to review it; he shows it nowhere without your permission. Your account, your path and your hallmarks stay after cancelling too, until you delete your account yourself. A running subscription is then cancelled first.
What we don't promise
We promise no job, no diploma and no recognised certificate. The crafts sometimes prepare for other organisations' certificates; you sit those with their issuer. If a review takes longer (illness, holidays), we say so in advance on the Workbench.
Price changes
If the prices change, we tell you by mail at least a month in advance. If you don't agree, you cancel before the new price applies.
Complaints
If you're unhappy about something, mail contact@nealvdv.be first: we answer within seven days. If we can't sort it out together, as a consumer you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumerombudsman.be). These terms are governed by Belgian law; the protection your own country's law gives you as a consumer still applies.
Written on 20 October 2026. A lawyer will still read these terms before the Atelier really starts.
